Hello everyone and I hope you're having a great day, I have noticed that my recent blogs have been about movies. That's because they are the most read articles in my blog, and I'm happy I reached arouned 120 views on one of my blogs. You have no idea how much that means to me.
This blog is a bit diffrent as you can see in the title, it's movie related in some way. Fashion defined Hollywood in many ways from classic gows from movies like gone by the wind, Breakfast at Tiffany's and many more , to modern outfits like Clueless and Mean girls... But in this blog I'll only be listing 3 decades. *90's Fashion:
3)Empire Records (1995):
The fashion in this movie is aesthetically pleasing, and especially Liv Tyler's Iconic outfit. Her outfit containes a pastel blue, long sleeve top along with a cute short striped skirt and some basic black boots. This outfit is simply cute and aesthetic and what makes it even better that Liv Tyler pulled it all together and made it so iconic.
2)Pretty Woman (1990):
This movie's fashion is beyond perfection, we saw skanky outfits as well as classy outfits. Julia Roberts wears a red off-shoulders dress, along with white gloves and completes it with a fantastic diamond necklace. The dress is so breathtaking that I can't take my eyes off of it, it's just perfect!
1)Clueless 1995:
Okay, so each one of us did want to steal Cher's wordrobe so baaaaad, every outfit is better than the other to be honest but there are these two looks that I ADOOOORE.
This outfit is perfect; Red striped coat along with a dress and a white blouse underneath it, the accessories were long black socks, a barret and a mini back-pack from the same colour.
The other outfit is a bit similar, because it's maroon and I love that colour so much! So this beautiful outfit is a red sleevless sweater with a light blue blouse underneath it. A red velvet short skirt, which is so back on trend, along with maroon long socks, basic brown shoes and a headband. I would wear this outfit for sure, I love it, Cher's taste never misses. *2000's Fashion:
3)How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days(2003):
As I remember this movie was and still one of the best chick-flicks to watch. What caught my eyes is the yellow satin dress, that fits prfectly Kate Hudson's body along with a gorgeous diamond necklace and a tiny purse to complete the look.
2)Atonement(2007):
Honestly I was not a big fan of the movie, but I'm a huuuuuge fan of Keira Knightly and I love her acting. That iconic green dress, oh my god! Not only it showed her perfect figure but also showed the cheer fabric and its simplicity. Keira said herself they had to retouch it many times because it was very fargile.
1) Princess Diaries (2001):
Now who of us doesn't know the iconic Princess Mia's white gown, she looked like a real princess. It's a sleevless white grown with flower printes all over it, along with gloves in the same colour. Accessorized with a Tiara and matching earrings.
2010's Fashion:
3)Bridesmaids (2011)
I love this movie in all its glory and what I love more is Helen's choice when it comes to Bridesmaids dresses. The fabric is a stunnung satin with amazing cuts to show the waist more. The cheer sleeves made the details even classier and chic.
2)Me Before You (2014)
Who of us doesn't remember Louisa Clark's beatiful red dress. It complimented her skin tone and her chubby figure. The dress is a classic red that's tight on the waist and wide at the bottom, which gives it a little princessy look.
1) Cinderella (2015)
I know it's hard to recreate such a legendary piece of fashion as Cinderella's blue gown. Along with the iconic magic glass slippers. The massive dress was full of volume and layers, including silk and a steel corset and skirt cage that was worn beautifully by James. The gorgeous blue tone seems to glimmer and shimmer, truly bringing the beloved tale to life.
