My LOVE for Bollywood: Explained

Bollywood have always been my inspiration in this life, the culture, the movies, the songs, the dances everything... I have been fond of bollywood world since I was a child. So in this blog I'll be explaining the reason why  I love bollywood. From movies, to dances to actors and even direction. This blog is a movie related cause I know that my readers love them a lot so...

6) The Beautiful picture:

If we talk about bollywood then I must mention the breathtaking colours; From the makeup to the hair and especially the traditional clothes; From saries to lhengas and even anarkalis... Movies embrace all of this things and make those colours shine! I mean who of us didn't want to dress like Deepika in Bajiraw Mastani

or like Aishwariya in Devdas?

5) Movies we grew up with:

Those movies that I watched when I was young, have such a special place in my heart! I used to watch them with my cousin. I remember those moments everytime I rewatch those movies.

For instanse, Mujhse Dosti Karoge (2001) I chose to be Puja and she chose to be Tina, we knew every line in movie and every lyric to the songs.

Also Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003), we were obsessed with Kareena Kapoor as "Sanjana"like crazy!

4) Vintage bollywood icons:

No one can deny the fact that bollywood had so many icons that we can never forget. Icons that have marked history with their fatal beauty, legendary roles and made their era iconic.

From Dream Girl "Hima Maleni" who started out the wingy eyeliner in the industry with her dreamy eyes. Or Rekha with her bold makeup in "Omrao Jaan" or even Sridevi in "Chandni".

3) Favourite Movie couples:

Mainly because, well, they practically grew up acting together. #Baazigar22YearsStrong 16 Reasons Shah Rukh And Kajol Are The Best Onscreen Couple To Ever Exist

Chesmitry between the leads in a film is highly important for me, and Bollywood takes it to another level. We got blessed to see our favourite couples on screen multiple times.

We can mention Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol who did more than 5 movies together from "DDLG" to "Bazigaar" and gained many awards for their chesmitry.

Deepika Padukone

Also everyone's favourite couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who we love on and off screen. We got to see them in the iconic magnificent Bansali films, and their energy is beyond amazing.

I would like to mention as well Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, when I first saw their movie "Bachna Ae Haseeno" I loved them together and they kept blessing us with other movies like "Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewani" who was praised by the audience and even "Tamasha".

2) Things I relate to:

A lot of people say that Bollywood calls for imaginary love stories, impossible life situaions and fantasy. In my opinion, I relate to many bollywood movies, whether it was a storyline, a character or even a situation. I relate to Naina in "Kal Ho Na Ho"a lot, we have so much in common; we both wear glasses, the not-smily face and non-social character! I love Naina she's so me but at least she had a glowup.

Other character that screams feminism is Rhea in "Hum Tum", she was a strong female that overcame life obstacles, started all over again and moved on. She believes that your life is complete without a man. It's totally fine to stay alone, there are other things in life that are worth worrying about.

Or even Naina from "Yeh Jawani Hai Dewaani" she's so introvert and shy around people just like me. If I ever go to a trip or a gathering it will be hard for me to interact with people I never met before. Just like Naina when she went to Manali and dicovered herself all over again.

1) Iconic Bollywood songs:

As everyone know every bollywood album speaks for its own, I mean classic songs like "Lag Jaa Gale" or "Main shayar toh Nahi" or even "Pyaar Hua Hai" remain one of my favourites, the classic eras like Raj Kapoor or Amitabh Bashan will remain unforgettable to me.

However, now songs are still going strong starting from the 90's like "Churake Dil Mera" or "Decka hai Pehli Baar" are such a jam! The 2000 too, had such good albums that I can never forget like "Bole Chudiya", "Dil Laga Liya" or even "Sisila Ki Chahat Ka" I have such a nostalgia when I hear them, till this day.

Even nowadays songs are a bit overdone or unoriginal there are some good remakes like "Saki Saki", or even originals like "Channa Mereya" or "Tu Jaane Na".

. Every era has its own magic, and I listen to them all, but the 2000 albums will always be my favourite! But I listen to every Arijit Singh song along with Atif Aslam.
So this blog came to an end, I had fun writing it and I promise to be more active and upload more 💕.
