Christmas Movie list

It's that time of the year again! This season, the holiday season me and my sister write down a christmas movie list, movies that we love and enjoy watching. And today I'll be recommending to you some of the best that I know you'll love and enjoy.

Just Friends (2005):

While visiting his hometown during Christmas, a man comes face-to-face with his old high school crush whom he was best friends with a woman whose rejection of him turned him into a ferocious womanizer.

Hands down to my ultimate favourite new Christmas movie, Ryan Reynolds as Chris Brander the bad main character learns such a valuable lesson in a really bad way. This film teaches us the value of friendship and family. Ryan never fails to make us laugh in every scene in the movie. I just can't describe my new obsession with this film and it's a must watch during the holidays.

Christmas with the Kranks (2004):

With their daughter, Blair, away, Luther and Nora Krank decide to skip Christmas all together until she decides to come home, causing an uproar when they have to celebrate it at the last minute.

This movie is so underrated, and I don't know why. It's so full of comedy and the story of a couple that wants to skip Christmas is just too good, and the way they dealt with their surroundings judging them all holiday season is just top nutch. This movie is very cozy and warm and I highly recommend it.

Edward the scissorhands (1990):

An artificial man, who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands, leads a solitary life. Then one day, a suburban lady meets him and introduces him to her world.

I know that this movie is not a Christmas movie, but whenever I watch it all I wanna do is cuddle up with my blanket, prepare a hot coco and enjoy every bit of it.

Little Women (1994):

Louisa May Alcott's autobiographical account of her life with her three sisters in Concord, Massachusetts in the 1860s. With their father fighting in the American Civil War, sisters Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth are at home with their mother, a very outspoken women for her time. The story tells of how the sisters grow up, find love and find their place in the world.

I'm guilty to admit that this version of Little Women will always remain my favourite, it's the sisters playing in the snow or Joe reading to them in front of the chimney. This movie gives me major holiday cozy vibes, it's the family warmth brough by the Marsh Family, the values of caring and sharing during Christmas and many other things. I highly recommend this movie, and hold your tears.

Surviving Christmas (2004):

Drew Latham is an executive leading an empty, shallow life with only wealth on his side. Facing another lonely Christmas ahead, he revisit his old childhood home in the hope of reliving some old holiday memories – but he finds that the house in which he was raised is no longer the home in which he grew up.

I really don't know how I found this movie, I guess it was luck. I never imagined Ben Affleck nailing such comedic role, he was hilarious and I really felt sorry that he had no family but he really tried to relive his old holidays memories as much as he can.

I recommend this movie, because it's really good it's funny and very emotional and worth your time.

The Family Man (2000):

A fast-lane investment broker, offered the opportunity to see how the other half lives, wakes up to find that his sports car and girlfriend have become a mini-van and wife.

This movie was a big surpise for me, because I have never heard of it. The storyline is very creative; how a single man witnesess his life change overnight and he has to deal with it. This movie teaches us about the value of being surrounded by your loved ones, family and friends esepcially during Christmas time.

That's it for today's blog, I hope you enjoy reading it and don't forget to give some love. Happy Holidays!

Her

You know what I tell her?

I tell her she's worthy and deserves the world

Behind the smiles in her pictures a heartache

After all she's been through, she made it out alive

Stronger and grown more than ever

She is a stranger to them now that she made it

Success seemed easy to them but not to her

It was tough for her to hold her tears but wiped them

She learnt that being alone is a bless

Rather than being near a sinner

Lies, lies and lies she heard but she only believed herself

Hard the way she found out yet she lived with it

Now every time she looks back she laughs at them

Cause she won herself, her dignity and her freedom

Luck she calls it, but it was fate.

If they wanted to stay they would, but she'll never force them

Time goes by and here they are

Begging but she walked away with a smile

She won
