And as a huge movies fan I have to say that sometimes there are some pretty good damn movies, that don't even get nominated. However, there are movies like Lalaland or Les Miséerables that people consider overrated for some reason to get nominated and won.

So in this blog, I'll be listing my favourite Oscar movies that are worth the hype, whether it comes to the storyline, production, acting and even direcion.
I'm not going to list Animation movies, so don't be dissapointed!
10) Spotlight (2015):

I had high expectations for this movie after I saw its cast, I mean Mark Ruffalo as the lead along with Michael Keaton and Rachel MacAdams. I also remember seeing a short clip, which was very intense and dramatic and I told myself " I have to see this movie now!". The true story of how the Boston Globe uncovered the massive scandal of child molestation and cover-up within the local Catholic Archdiocese, shaking the entire Catholic Church to its core. This movie got 4 nominations but it only won 2; Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
