Joey Tribbiani is the best friend we didn't know we needed

Joey Tribbiani has always been my favourite character in the Friends series! I relate to him a lot, he's sweet and funny and will do everything to keep his friends. 

Sometimes, he's too naive and sacrifices his life in order to save his friends from hard and embarrasing situations.

So in this blog, I'll be talking about some brave things, our Joe did to prove that he's the friend we all need.

5)He gave up Hugsy for Emma:

We all know how much love Joey has for his stuffed pinguin "Hugsy", he cannot sleep without him. But in season 9 Emma started liking playing with it, and she cannot sleep without him. 

Joey got angry, so he went and bought another hugsy for her. Ironically, Emma likes the original Hugsy, Joey gave it to her in order to make her happy and see her smile. Tha'ts a good friend, we all need! I mean who would do that?

4)He forgave Chandler for fooling around with his sister:

In season 3, Joey had a birthday and Chandler was so depressed because he just broke up with Janice. He got so drunk at the Birthday, and Joey's sisters were there, he made out with one of them. 

When Joey found he was so pissed, but when Chandler aplogized from the bottom of his heart to Joey and his sister Mary-Angela, Joe forgave him; His roomate, his bestfriend, his buddy. If I were him, it'll be hard to forget what Chandler did, but let's face it Joe is so sweet.

3)He let Chandler be happy with Kathy even though she was with him:

In season 4, Chandler liked a girl he saw in Central Perk surprisingly she was Joey's girlfriend. Chandler kept his feelings from his best friend but one day he kissed Kathy and coudn't let go his emotions .

 Joey got eally mad when he found out about it and the only way he can forgive him was "to live in a box" thinking about the thing he did wrong . Even this problem happaned Joey with his big heart forgave Chandler and gave him the chance to date Kathy .

2)He kept Mondler's relationship a secret:

Okay no one can deny how much suffer Joey went through to hide Chandler and Monica's relationship that started in London. He was the first of Friends to know about it, in a hilarious way "Eyelash Curler". Joey was constantly humiliated by his other friends, and they accused him of being a "Big Pervert".

 But he stayed silent for Mondler because he's a keeper, I love Joe. So then, when Rachel and Pheobe found out on their own Joey didn't do anything but still wants the truth to come out. The deep friendship, between Chandler and Joey is such a special bond, to see Chandler finally happy with a girl made Joey the proudest friend ever!

1)He let go his feelings for Rachel because for Ross:

Everyone knows that it's hard to get over your feelings and let them go. In season 8, Rachel got pregnant and moved in with Joey. His feelings;, started to grow towards her. At first, he thought it was just a crush, and he'll get over it. But when Rachel moved out, he started missing her, he knew it was more than just a crush. He loves her so much, but Rachel is pregnant, with his bestfriend's baby Ross! 

Joey the sweet guy he is, he asked his other friends, they told him that it's a bit complicated for him. He told both Rachel and Ross the truth, Rachel got so emotional and didn't want to lose him as her bestfriend! Joey chose friendship over Love. 

That's what we call a good friend! Friends these days don't care about you or your feelings. Selfishness nowadays took over relationships, it became worse to choose whether you become agood friend, or a loyal lover. What's imprtant is to keep a good friend near you no matter what, it's hard to be alone in this life, there has to be someone there that listens to you, opens his heart to you and just be there for you.
